| Salvation is a gift from God, available to those who believe in their hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10). This gift cannot be earned through good works or by simply being a “good" person (Ephesians 2:8, 1Timothy 1:9). You cannot be good enough to earn it. You cannot be too bad not to receive it. It doesn’t matter what you have done: how good you are or how bad a person you have been, what you have or have not done. God is willing to forgive you of all sins. He loves you beyond your wildest imagination. Salvation is a free gift. If you have come here looking for a change in your life, seeking peace that no one and nothing else has been able to give you, you are on the right track. God is ready to help you and has been waiting for you all your his time. Right now and right where you are, say this simple prayer out loud believing in your heart: Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank You that You love me so much so that You gave Your only Son Jesus (John 3:16) to die on the cross for my sins. Forgive my sins. I believe in my heart that You raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, and I confess right now with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. According to Your Word, I believe that I am now saved (Romans 10:10-11) and that Christ now lives in me. Father, help me by Your grace to live for Christ so that my life will be pleasing to You and be a testimony to others that God is love and that Jesus Christ is Lord. In Jesus name, Amen. If you have just said this prayer you are now born again and a child of God, forgiven of all your sins. Let us know so that we can rejoice with you and direct you to further resources. FOUR STEPS TO HELP YOU GROW IN CHRIST 1) Become a part of a Bible-believing church. Go to church and learn more about Jesus. 2) Start reading your Bible daily, and don’t worry if you don’t understand much of what you are reading. God will speak to your heart what you need to know. 3) Pray daily. Prayer is communication with God. Start talking to God, praising Him for saving you, telling Him what is in your heart, and He will communicate back to you primarily through His Word. 4) Be baptized. Baptism is one of the sacraments of the faith. It is a public affirmation and seal to your confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Let us know that you accepted Jesus Christ. Contact us! |
